wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

WHAT?!!! Chants are annoying. WHAT?!!! No, they're not. WHAT?!!! They're cool, and endearing of an era long past. WHAT!??? Fans won't stop chanting it during boring segments and promos.WHAT?!!!! There's been a lot of those lately. Don't WHAT ME!!! WHAT!!!???

@Admiral M, Shaq will not be competing at 28. This was confirmed earlier in the week. Also, although not confirmed, I'd say we can go ahead and add the Beth Phoenix Vs Trish Stratus match since it continues to be played up and teased by Trish. We also know Miz is not on the card yet...boy Mike is really getting punished right now. It kind of reminds me of Triple H being made the scapegoat and being punished for the Klique MSG incident when Hall and Nash left.

Ring Ka King is so hilarious. It's a wonderful homage to 80s wrestling, and the crowd makes it work so well.

Watching Abyss and Steiner chase the crowd away is my wrestling highlight of the year so far.

I know I love vintage wwe and wcw material. I wish netflix had more wrestling material. just finished the rise and fall of wcw awesome, I hope they get the monday night wars soon.

Yeah, I was out of the loop when I wrote that, still there was always a chance that WWE was holding on to the possibility of him making some kind of appearance.

There has been talk about doing a special former world champions MITB ladder match at Wrestlemania and this is why I added it to my speculation list. It's a very real possibility it could happen and the names I picked are among the most likely candidates. I'm 50/50 about Miz's participation in Wrestlemania given the sheer nuclear heat he has acquired in the last couple of months.

Speaking of heat, Alberto Del Rio isn't particulary liked by people backstage and he probably has heat for some of his comments regarding his dislike of other wrestlers and The Miz in particular. The thing is though that Del Rio is highly rated by the people who make the decisions, they like his look, the way he works and his dedication to the business - not to mention the fact he's Mexican and will draw large numbers from the Hispanic market (something WWE is always focused on).

The fact that Miz has got on Del Rio's wrong side is bad, because Del Rio is legitimately one of the toughest wrestlers in the promotion, having competed professionally as a mixed martial artist (in quite a few high profile matches). Del Rio is also a trained amateur wrestler and if memory serves, he was on the shortlist to make the Mexican national team for the Olympics. He does come across a bit of a jerk, but at the same time he comes form a very strict kayfabe background and a lot of the things he says could be a work as part of his character and his skills at getting people to dislike him.

Shaq is going to be at 28 but he's just not competing, and yeah Del Rio has been in the dog house since he dropped the WWE Title...I remember you and I at the time Admrial M debating about the fact that they put the title on him for the Mexican tour and we know how that turned out. Just is amazing what changes in a year. This time last year, CM Punk was feuding with Orton and was leader of Nexus. Now he's a two time WWE Champion :)

Rao...the commentators are becoming more and more annoying. This Bryan heel turn is ridiculous. Fuck me WWE is resembling WCW and TNA more and more with all these run ins and stupid story lines. Also have WWE decided to "ignore" Rock/Hogan? It seems like that while they've promoting Cena/Rock.

I don't have the option of watching Smackdown!, but it looks as if they are building towards a match between Cody Rhodes and Big Show, and this continued mini-fued that seems to be brewing between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton seems like it ought to result in the 'Viper' being added to the WHT match, but I'm not sure how likely that actually is.

Yeah they've been implying a program between Rhodes and Bryan, and as for Orton, he isn't in the WHT mix yet. It is still Sheamus Vs Bryan at 28.

I know Orton isn't currently involved with the WHT match, but this mini-fued between him and Bryan feels like it ought to culminate in him (Orton) becoming involved in it unless they do something on this week's SD! to indicate what their plans for him (Orton) at 'Mania actually are.

They did an angle at the Smackdown tapings where Kane ran out and flattened Randy Orton for no apparent reason (as of yet). It looks like this is where they are going in regards to Orton being a part of Wrestlemania.

In all seriousness though, Randy Orton has never had an outstanding Wrestlemania match and his best effort to date was the match he had with Undertaker at Wrestlemania 21 in 2005. Despite what people say about Orton and Punk's match last year - it wasn't all that great and the ending was extremely predictable (the RKO counter to a diving opponent -like most of Orton's matches last year).

I don't really think Kane and Orton are capable of having a good match with such little time left to create a good build, unless of course this is just a prelude to the much rumoured "former world champions MITB ladder match". Hopefully it will be, otherwise we're looking at...

Kane dominates the first five minutes - brawling outside where Orton gets the advantage - back in the ring where Kane takes the advantage again - Kane hits the chokeslam for a near fall - Orton gets 4/5 of his moves of doom as Kane counters the RKO and prepares for another chokeslam - Orton counters the chokeslam into an RKO for the victory...

... Kane's revitalised character/push is completely buried and Orton gains nothing, complete waste of time.

I don't understand their mentality with Kane at all. First Cena and Ryder, with just one match. at least on camera (as I said would happen), Cena has been facing Kane at various house shows now Orton. LOL.

I had an amazing idea earlier, which I highly doubt will happen, but for the benefit of everyone here...

Imagine if Zack Ryder costs John Cena his match with The Rock at Wrestlemania?! I can't think of anything more fucking epic than a rising star (despite the way WWE books him, Ryder has still defeated the barriers placed upon him with his gimmick and risen to the upper mid-card) costing Cena the biggest match of his career in a spot of booking genius.

Of course, people would still boo the hell out of Cena, but the difference is you would have another Cena-type character in Ryder. He would be cheered by those who welcomed Cena losing at Wrestlemania (and those who boo Cena regulary anyway) and booed by those who love Cena. The big thing would be Ryder's motivation, in which he believes Cena stole his girl - despite Eve being a "Hoeski" (as Cena put it in a terrible promo).

They could then feud with each other until one of them invariably (probably Ryder) does a full on heel turn.

I don't like that idea at all. The WWE has spent a year hyping and building up Rock/Cena. Unless creative is wanting to truly become like WCW and Impact Wrestling and start stupid run-ins...I wouldn't potentially wreck Rock's potentially last match in his home town using Ryder. The fans want to see Rock beat Cena cleanly. I have said it before, and will say it again, Ryder is a fad. They put the US Title on him but didn't really give him a push. I like Zack and appreciate what he has done to get himself noticed, but creative was never going to use him seriously. Look at the ridiculous angle they gave him with Cena and Eve? That should speak volumes.

I was right about the Rhodes/Big Show thing, but really have no clue what direction they're headed in with Orton. The same thing applies to Kane.

It looks/sounds as if they're building towards some type of 'stipulation match' with Teddy and Johnny L using surrogates (the same way they did the whole Vince vs. Trump match in '07), but I can't, at this stage, figure out who said surrogates might end up being other than Santino and Otunga, and a singles match involving those two guys really isn't worthy of inclusion on a 'Mania card in the 'modern' era.

I just hope that the feud between Teddy and Big Johnny doesn't result in Big Johnny getting to be permanent Raw General Manager and the new Smackdown Gm. WTF is happening with Mick Foley? Ugh. I thought for sure one of the reasons they brought him back was for an on camera role as a possible new face GM. We've had enough heel GM's on Raw.

Sigh...LOL. In my opinion there aren't enough good heels right now, and yes there isn't any such thing as "too many heels". What a weird comment.

I was kidding of course. I will say however, that most of the workers I care about in the slightest are heels at the moment. :)

Maybe Randy Orton vs. Kane?

^ I was referring to timothy's original comment :) You of course are actually quite correct. You can never have enough heels.
