What Are You Watching Right Now?

Captain
I'm going through season 1 of TOS again. I'm on episode 6 Mudd's Women. I love the cheesiness of TOS, I think it's half of what made the show so good.

Watched The Young Ones series one on Saturday. Probably watch series two tonight. After that, I have the entire Black Books.

Oh yeah, I'm also on season four of Dexter. Don't know how I started watching it. It's so not my usual thing.

About to finish my DS9 season four DVD. Recently finished Sherlock season two Blu-ray and will shortly continue the complete Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes DVD collection. (I've watched the first episode, the Irina Adler one, and was highly impressed.) Also intend to start I, Claudius soon as I've never seen it. Oh, and must continue Sons Of Anarchy season one.

Perseverence? What's that?

John Lithgow for the win!

...the complete Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes DVD collection.

Bought that late last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, I wasn't expecting too, I usually prefer the Basil Rathbone film series.
I was surprised by how entertaining it was, given that my limited recollection suggested that it would be austere. Yet the first episode gives us a very enjoyable romp; with Holmes adopting two excellent disguises, and a frank reference to his coke habit. The box set is fantastic value for money, too.

I can't believe there wasn't already one of these threads going in MISC???

Oh well, surprises surprises.

I'm watching Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Currently on Season 5 ep2.

It is, quite a lot of content for the price. I won't spoil future episodes but they do continue to be frank about Holmes' private life throughout the series and it leads to some brilliant performances by Brett, I was surprised myself how deeply they delve into Holmes' darker side.
