He'd like to, but when the book was published he wasn't under contract for more and future books would depend on BMB's sales.I recently got a copy of Blind Man's Bluff, its next in my pile to read.
I was wondering if anyone knew if Peter David planned to write anymore New Frontier novels beyond it
Not especially, no. It ends on something of a cliffhanger.or does this one wrap up the series?

I agree. I feel like interest has been petering off (no pun intended). I really want this to be a series that gets a solid conclusion.I think more are up in the air, depending on sales of the last one. But I do know that Blind Mans Bluff doesnt wrap the series up. David should just write one more of them, and make it an epic finale that leaves everyone wanting more. Leave it at that.
I don't mean to derail the thread, but I figured it'd make more sense to ask this question here than to start up a new thread for a simple question.
How intertwined is New Frontier with the rest of the current novel continuity? Is it integral to the greater continuity, or has it mostly done its own thing? I only ask because I'm planning on catching up on my Trek reading, and I'm not sure if I ought to include New Frontier now or go back and read it later once I'm caught up on the main continuity.
I hope he does! Ive been a fan of the series since its inception in the late 90s. I have the comic tie ins as well. Now I just need to get my hands on one of those Calhoun action figures lol

I actually woulda liked to see a New Frontier book tie into Typhon Pact, if only to see Mac cope with diplomacy. *lol*
