Haywire star wants to play Wonder Woman

Actually most of the reviews I've seen say that her acting is fairly weak, but the movie just does a good job hiding that behind all the action.

Still though, she definitely has the right LOOK for Wonder Woman.

Ah, I pretty much just skimmed the reviews on Metacritic, and I didn't see anybody saying thing about bad acting in any of the quotes.

She's very pretty, hot and a very, very good fighter. Been a fan of hers for years. But Wonder Woman? Nope. She doesn't have the right look at all.

She isn't my Lois! :rommie:

They need to search LONG & HARD for the right WW. ;)

I still think the actress who played Sif in THOR would be perfect for WW. She's got the comic book warrior goddess thing down.

Oh, yeah, I always forget about Jaime Alexander. I've been a huge fan since she first appeared in Kyle XY, and I loved her as Sif in Thor.

The other thing I found interesting in the article is the fact that Soderbergh found the idea of a Wonder Woman movie "interesting". Do you think he could pull it off? I haven't really seen any of his movies, so I'm not sure if he could do a decent superhero movie.

Soderbergh likes to stretch and try different things, so maybe he'd be intrigued by the challenge. Alas, he's also talking about retiring from filmmaking for awhile.

That talk was going on and off. And, it lasted just under one...two months?

He's not going to retire.;)

I don't know. In a recent issue of EW, he was still talking about finishing up his next four movies, then moving on to something besides filmmaking.

Whether he'll actually do so is anyone's guess, but he was still talking about "Phase 3" of his career just a few weeks ago.
