The Dark Knight Rises Anticipation Station

It's actually a relief to be finally outed as a moron.

I've been in the moron closet for far too long.

Time to stop living a lie.

Moron and proud!

"When Gotham is ... ashes, you may have this dance."

To the tune of "Por una Cabeza," no less.

Second off, held her own in The Devil Wears Prada??? A chickflick....Okay then, I didn't realize that we were now giving credit to movies that only morons watch...

Well now, it didn't have to be a great movie in order to be more interesting fare for grownups than most of the sf/fantasy released that year - which it was.

Mr.Legion, I'm sorry to ask a completely off-topic question here, but is your avatar supposed to be negative or positive?
Negative.
He's a huge liberal. Obama can do no wrong.
Never mind he, Harry and Nancy haven't created ANY jobs in the two years, unemployment did nothing but go up from the time they tookover, they had control of both branches it's somehow Boener's fault.

I now return to the true point of the thread. Riddler, yes or no?

3 Things.
1. I love Captain Craig's signature. "Freedom is the Right of All Sentient Beings."-Optimus Prime
2. Riddler. In the long run no matter how awesome the villan (although in my opinion and most opinions the Joker is the awsomest villian) no one can top Heath Ledger's preformence as the Joker. Plus the closing of Christopher Nolan's adaptation could not be more fitting with Bane as the villian for Batman. In the comics, Bane picks up Batman breaks his spine, and leaves Batman to die. It is fitting for Bane to be the last villian in the Nolan adaptation.
3. Meep.

Less than a month ago, I told you to keep this junk out of this thread, when you were complaining about Occupy Wall Street protesters. I'm asking you again to please stop derailing a Batman thread with political shit, considering the President and Democratic legislative leaders have absolutely fuck-all to do with the movie. Thanks.

Ugh...

First off, think of a different frigin argument, you people can never come up with anything original....

Second, you're comparing Anne Hathaway to Heath Ledger? Bitch, please....The dude is an Academy Award Winning Actor...Celebrated for more movies than just TDK. What's she done? Take her clothes off?....Yeah..That's about it...

Yeah, we'll see how things turn out. The movie will be worth the watch, but if it sucks for any reason whatsoever, it'll be her fault...And you all know it....

Fact (Of The Horrible Actress Variety)

That would be the same Anne Hathaway who shared the screen with Ledger in Brokeback Mountain? Who held her own opposite Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada? Who got an Oscar nomination for Rachel Getting Married? Who hosted the Oscars last year? Who got a Golden Globe nomination for Love and Other Drugs? And a British Independent Film Award for Becoming Jane?

Yes. Clearly famous only for taking her clothes off.

Oh and Ledger was only an Oscar winning actor after he'd been in TDK, not before. So at this stage, yes, Anne's career is comparable to his, as is the carping of fanboys this time round.

First off, fuck you, I'm not a fanboy.

Second off, held her own in The Devil Wears Prada??? A chickflick....Okay then, I didn't realize that we were now giving credit to movies that only morons watch....

And since when did hosting the Oscars mean anything? Seriously, I am so damned sick of you Anne Hathaway apologists. She cannot act and is going to slaughter the role of Catwoman. Get over it.

Hmm, so 'chickflicks' don't count. Do 'gay movies' count? Cos if not, we have to discount Heath Ledger's Oscar nom for Brokeback Mountain.

Hosting the Oscars doesn't count for anything. Okay, sack Hugh Jackman from the role Wolverine. He has no Oscar nominations or wins, he's hosted the Oscars, he's done a few chickflicks and before being cast in X-Men, he appeared in a stage musical!!!! In fact, he's recently done several more!!!!!!

Hell, for all intents and purposes, Brokeback Mountain was a chickflick.

^^^
It really is, meant to comment on that earlier. I do wonder though that in a Nolan, it's more "real world", would the hair be showing? That is after all a tactical disadvantage in any close combat situation.
