Also, I loved how everytime a Bronco got hurt tonight, especially in the first half, the fans in the Patriots stadium started booing. Stay classy, New England. Shit.
I'll give you a different take on that one. They weren't boing the 'hurt' player, or showing a lack of class. They were booing because the Pats were in a hurry-up offense for most of that, and it seemed that after every decent to big play, a Bronco suddenly went down and they had to stop the clock, slow things down, allow subs, etc. Granted, some of the injuries were legit, but in a great many of those cases, the injured player was right back on the field one play later, no worse for wear. Seems if you can't get up, need the trainers to check you out and help you off the field, you should miss more than 12 seconds of game time, no?
Pats get a lot of phantom injuries against them when in the hurry-up offense, only way to stop the clock and let the defense catch their breath and try and come up with a play to stop them.
THAT is what the Pats were booing. A few turned out to be actual injuries, which doesn't make the fans look great, but that situation has come up SO many times for the Pats this year, and even in this case, most of the players came right back in, so how hurt were they?
