2011 NFL Season - A New Game

Holy shit, nice day to be a 49ers fan. Obviously way too early to call it, especially against the Saints, but that team does look for real.

eta: again ball 49ers, incredible. Saints look totally "off" today so far.

Never underestimate the Saints offense. They're far from down and out.

AND another turnover.

edit: Damn. Fair call, but still would have been awesome to see.

It's probably a good thing for the Saints that the latest fumble got overturned. I know the Saints are pretty explosive, but how devestating would that be as far as morale goes to turn the ball over 4 of your first 5 drives?

The team with the ball last wins?

ETA: Well I guess not, there are 9 seconds left. WOW, what a finish! Congrats 49rs.

Vernon Davis activated his own beast mode in the last few minutes of the game. That catch in the endzone was amazing considering the defender was on him like a wet blanket.

Glad I don't have a horse in that race as I would've had about four heart attacks by now regardless of who I was rooting for...

Raise your hand if, one year ago, you thought that Alex Smith, with his tiny hands, would be taking the 49ers to the 2012 NFC Championship Game.

Assuming the Packers win their game, I'm looking forward to a Rodgers/Smith showdown.

And yeah, even though I'm one of his big detractors, I have to give Smith credit where it's due--he played a FANTASTIC game.

One year ago we didn't have Jim Harbaugh. That's your difference right there.

I'm on the Niners bandwagon now, that was a great game. Or at least a great 4th quarter.
Sorry the see the Broncos deploying their 'bendover' defense.
