I think this might be old because in one of the top ten it mentions Smallville's finale being last month lol. I agree to most of the things they list to a degree.

Good list. Four and Five are trivial, but I agree with the rest.
The suit looks great. So glad they ditched the Speedo.
Daly Supes was sort of that way too. One of the things I really liked about TAS.
And Reeve did have some witty banter in the early part of the original (like his "comming out" montage): "Something wrong with the elevator?" for example. But Donner quickly got away from that for some reason.

Cain's Superman seems like a good model, yeah. I think that was influenced by the conception of the show as a kind of Moonlighting thing about Lois and Clark rather than about Supes.
I agree with pretty much the entire list. I do like the suit and I think it is a good combination of old and new.
One thing I'm wondering about... nearly everyone and his dog was complaining about Lex Luthor's ploy in Superman Return. Everybody went "What, AGAIN real estate?!"
And now this is essentially a remake of Superman I and II with better effects, but nobody bitches about that?

Is there a verified plot synopsis that backs that up?
Outside the origin angle and Zod(who hasn't been on the silver screen in 30 years), who isn't a fair gripe compared to Luthor, is there anything else to back up what your saying? Two shared points does not compute as same in my book.
It would be creative fail if the real estate scheme is used. Not to mention outdated for the character. Luthor has been portrayed no less than 3 times in major Superman media projects as a corporate mogul over the past 20 years.
I brought this up about 100 pages back. No one wanted to hear about it.
I like Zod, I really do. But I was hoping for a truly "new and different" storyline. Which would have used a different villian. Using the same villian from S:2 can only lead to comparisons.
God forbid a superhero movie try to have a little bit of fun.
I really don't think we truly know what the story line is just yet.
