Transfering between to cpus

I have a Desktop PC with Windows 7
I have a thinkpad with Windows XP
I have a wireless router

I want to transfer some rather large files from PC to Laptop.

How do I do this wirelessly?

Why would you suggest copying private data between your PCs by giving it to someone else?

plus, depending on internet speed it could take forever

I recommend getting an empty external harddrive enclosure to plug the old computer's harddrive in . . . then, you have a super easy way to get all your old info, and then an easy backup solution
I got mine for around $30

If this is about videos, yes, than dopbox wouldn't be the way to go. But otherwise, I'd consider it.

Personally, I have started using Apple's iCloud (including iTunes match), and I'm quite happy with it.

Dropbox used on the same LAN transfers direct between PCs. It mentions that in the help files.
