HHH & Nash is ridiculous...it is irrelevant. Unless they have a big payoff at Survivor Series...which I am sure they won't...it is a waste...we shall see.
I don't even know if Kevin Nash is capable of wrestling to the level of Triple H anymore. A few years back he could stretch to it on a really good day, nowaways though it seems that his injuries have caught up with him to the point his opponent will have to do most of the work.
I suppose they could cover for Nash by booking a street fight or a no-holds barred. The no-holds barred worked well at Wrestlemania because it allowed Undertaker to still work an exciting match despite the fact he still wasn't 100% (and probably won't ever be) recovered from his shoulder injury. I'm confident that Undertaker has got a few more matches left in him, especially now that he's taken an extended leave.
Anyway, back to Nash. I'm not sure if the current angle is the one that WWE intended when Nash first made his presence felt back at Summerslam. Most of us were under the assumption that it was going to lead to a Triple H heel turn, with Nash aligning himself with Triple H and John Laurinaitis against the likes of John Cena and CM Punk with the Punk/Triple H match occuring at Survivor Series. Instead, it seems that they've gone with Nash turning heel and aligning himself with John Laurinaitis and betraying Triple H because Trips decided to play fairly and not screw CM Punk.
Where does the feud between Triple H and Kevin Nash go from here? Obviously they will have a match or two and one man (Triple H) will come out on top, but where does that leave Nash? Does Nash turn face and settle his differences with Triple H? Does Nash remain heel and finally acknowledge that he's been working with John Laurinaitis in order to force Triple H out? Does Nash just disappear from WWE TV with little or no reason? I'd like to think that WWE will still reach where they started with this entire storyline, but I'm not particulary confident about it.
If I was booking, I'd have John Laurinaitis come out after Triple H and Kevin Nash's match and reveal that the WWE board of directors has fired Triple H from the COO position and replaced him with Laurinaitis. Laurinaitis then reveals that he was working his way into that position, but he also reveals that he's not the mastermind behind it all and that he's merely doing his duty to ensure that WWE continues the way that the board of directors want it to continue. Laurinaitis will then reveal his associates...
Kevin Nash (because Triple H didn't take his side and Laurinaitis promised him the chance to be a big player again)
Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez (because the Summerslam attack was arranged by Laurinaitis and Nash so Del Rio could cash in, in exchange for his loyalty)
The Miz (because Triple H fired him and Laurinatis rehired him in exchange for his loyalty)
R-Truth (because Triple H fired him and Laurinaitis rehired him in exchange for his loyalty)
Michael Cole (because he's Michael Cole)
Cody Rhodes (because he saw an opportunity to further himself in the WWE)
Christian (because he saw an opportunity to further himself in the WWE)
Wade Barrett (because he saw an opportunity to further himself in the WWE)
Jack Swagger (because he saw an opportunity to further himself in the WWE)
Dolph Ziggler (because he saw an opportunity to further himself in the WWE)
Vickie Guerrero (because she saw an opportunity to further herself in the WWE)
Mark Henry (because Laurinaitis encouraged him towards the World Heavyweight Championship)
Of course, there could be others but these names seem the most likely to join Laurinaitis. Laurinaitis would then declare that he and his associate have decided that the WWE needs to move in a more corporate direction - something which even Vince McMahon tried and failed to achieve. Vince would then walk out and give a long speech about how he still owns the company, yet has the power to do nothing about Laurinaitis..almost nothing. Vince would then reveal that he went to the board of directors and persuaded them that Laurinaitis cannot fire the likes of Triple H, John Cena and CM Punk without a just reason and that he also recommended to them the perfect person to fill the Raw GM spot - Mick Foley.
You could then have Vince demand that Laurinaitis gets his associate out there so he can face the person who is trying to destroy the company he built. Laurinaitis, frustrated by Vince's meddling would order security to remove Vince. Vince would escort himself out, content in knowing that Foley and the contract immunity arragements are enough to ensure that Laurinaitis' plans are ruined.
This would then kick off a major storyline where Laurinaitis' corporation feuds with the rest of the WWE, particulary Triple H, Cena and Punk. Throughout the course of the storyline you have people switching sides and the brands being reformed with one being called WWE and the other - WWE Corporate. Raw and Smackdown would continue to be supershows and talent would still have matches regardless of alignment. Eventually, Laurinaitis associate would be revealed and this would result in the match to regain control of the WWE - with the WWE winning and the company being left unified with one brand and Laurinaitis fired (kayfabe because he'd still be the EVP of Talent Relations).
