If Dax hadn't died...

The Dominion

And if Terry Farrell hadn't wanted to leave DS9, do you think she would've been written into Insurrection and possibly Nemesis? I don't mean in a huge part, but still have her in it. I was disappointed that they didn't even give her a mention on either, at least I can't remember them doing so.

I think it would have been nothing more than a mention of "So, Worf, how's the wife?" I'm drawing a blank on how they got Worf on the ship in Insurrection, I think the Defiant just "happened" to be in the area, so no need to see her there. Maybe she would have been with Worf at the wedding in Nemesis, but with so many TNG characters already there is just not room in the script for her.

Now that I think of it, isn't there a line in one of the movies where someone asks Worf about his wife or "How's married life?" or something like that? Or am I just making that up in my head?

More like if Jadzia hadn't died... I personally think she (the character itself) would have faded in season 7. I mean aside from the wedding, it seemed the writers were struggling to come up with new ways of developing Jadzia Dax's character. Terry Farrell leaving made things more easier for the writers, and they introduced Ezri Dax, and made the whole Dax character new again. Kudos to them.

amazing and cool share mate...... :) .... However, on other note:

So I was about to ask, "Why the hell would Jadzia Dax be in any of the TNG movies?" when the poster below you reminded me that she was Worf's wife. I'd completely forgotten about that:lol:

Nevertheless, that aside there's still no good reason why she'd be in any of the films. It's not like she'd just happened to be following Worf around during the two times in two years he somehow ended up on the Enterprise.

As for what would have happened in DS9, I agree that once she got hitched, she'd just be in the background. However, I think that would have been better for the show overall, as at least five episodes were wasted introducing Ezri for just one season, when they could have focused more on the Dominion War.

Other then the fact that Dax should of been a Ezri from the get go, the marriage of Jazdia to Worf did limit what they could do with her.

If ya listen close before the party with the midget aliens, ya can hear Worf start to tell Riker that he was settin' up a defense perimeter in a nearby star system. Its in the novelization.

That was goin' to be a line in INS before Jadzia was killed off, I'm sure...
