I think Rivals is my least favorite DS9 episode. Everything about it felt lazy and boring. I mean who cares about this random somebody who has a bad turn of luck, and then snatches this luck-making device out of some dead alien's hands (and this alien looks remarkably like Keith Richard's today). The writers were swigging to much tequila when they wrote Rivals, or maybe they ran out of ideas...
