Shows you barely like?

YOu watch them out of habit or boredom or because there might be a actor you like but not much else.

A few shows that have been that way for is "Rescue Me" and "Open Skies" I watched "Rescue Me" mostly because I enjoyed the early seasons but lost intrest in it and stayed with out of habit. I watch "Open Skies" because I love distopia futures and alien invasion shows and movies but I find the show to be to soft. I doesn't feel real to me.

Enterprise - the third and fourth seasons were an improvement over the first and especially the second, but overall it delivered precious little of interest that we hadn't seen before. I might as well not have bothered.

Nowadays, Torchwood.

I was going to say that there wasn't a show that I could think of but once you mentioned Torchwood I realised that I had to agree with that.

The Big Bang Theory. It shows up on the hard drive and I'm like... ok... I'll give it another chance... I mean, it is ostensibly targeted at geeks after all...

Boredwalk Empire. Haven't checked out any of season 2 yet, so maybe I'll still do the sensible thing and stop. I like Buscemi. I like the setting. The very first episode was actually pretty decent, but aside from that it has just been way too plodding of a pace.

American Idol - Auditions are usually fun, just because of all the delusional people who can't sing at all. After that it's pretty much unwatchable. This is the year where I don't bother with the live shows dammit.

I think that's it for current TV, everything else I watch I think I genuinely enjoy to some extent.

And yeah, back in the day Voy and Ent because derp derp I just had to watch every episode of Trek.

The fourth and fifth seasons of SGA... what were they doing, trying to prove that an infinite number of monkeys can write? Re-used characters and plots from SG-1, ignored 3 years of backstory of SGA.

I have no idea why I kept watching. It was just awful.

Before it was canceled, Heroes had reached that point.

I don't watch a lot of TV, so I generally save it for shows I do like. Law and Order: Criminal Intent might fit the list. I thought the show was terrible, so I only rarely watched. But I usually did out of boredom and still thought it was terrible.

Hawaii 5-0. Love the intro music, some of the action scenes are OK (they actually reload in gun fights!), but beyond that it's just not grabbing me.

Big Bang Theory - The writers get details wrong on some of the geek things. It sometimes feels like they are writing about what they think geeks do without actually knowing.

A lot of the new shows this season. It's too early to say for sure if I'll stick with them, but so far only Revenge and Terra Nova are ones that I am actually excited to watch again. Pan Am and The Secret Circle are particularly "meh" for me.

This second season of Harry's Law is feeling that way as well after all of the changes that they have made to the show.

Also, Mythbusters hasn't been that great for me lately, but I watch anyway. The myths aren't that interesting anymore, though the previews for next week's look good.

Others I can think of are Pretty Little Liars, Secret Millionaire, and Shark Tank.

House for me. I watched and enjoyed the previous seasons but just lost interest midway through last season with no real desire to catch up either.

There have been other shows that fell in this category for a while (TSCC, Heroes, Reaper, etc) but in every case I just dropped them eventually.

Law & Order: SVU is rapidly approaching such for me. Last year was a little border-line, but Benson and Stabler kept me hooked. Without such... sigh.

I don't mind Danny Pino, but Kelley Giddish is a forced-fit any day of the week.

CSI was such sort of, last year or so, but Ted Danson is actually surprisingly good and the fall-out/conflict resulting from such is... well, it's better than it has been sans Grissom so far.

I thought this was going to be a hard question, but the answer just popped up to me: The Amazing Race

I've watched at least 10 cycles of this show and at first I really liked it, but now I think the show is getting tired. They're the same thing over and over, with new items that are like old items (What's the difference between the Hazard introduced in the premiere episode and a Speedbump) and there doesn't seem to be any effort to freshen it up. I think they tried with the family edition but people hated it in that it was only in North America and not around the world. I'm not even sure what I would do to freshen up the show, but I would lose the U-Turn and bring back the Yeild and have more than 1 fast forward in a season. I would also try to utilize other aspects of travel in terms of challenges, like Freeways, Stop Lights, all that sort. Not sure how they could do it, but at least it would be different.

I'll cosign this. There were two or three really outstanding episodes in the first season and a lot of stuff I'm fairly indifferent to.

Heroes, nu Battlestar Galactica, Lost and Enterprise. I stuck with them to see how they ended and hoping they would improve. It was a chore just to finish them.

This. If it weren't for my DVR recording it for me, I'd probably just drop it all together.
I'll add The Office to the list; I used to schedule my life around that show, but I flat out stopped watching shortly after Jim and Pam's wedding, and picked it back up to watch Steve Carell's final few episodes. The last few of last season were pretty awful, especially Will Ferrel's character. I watched the season premere and enjoyed it, so I'll continue watching for now...

I think SVU has jumped the shark. I don't much care for those two rookies. And Benson needs to shut the fuck up and stop whining like a baby.

I like the show, and will watch it till the end, but I just don't see it lasting longer than this season.

I tend to drop any show that doesn't really grab me. For the new shows, I thought about sticking with The Secret Circle and Revenge, but instead I dropped both. Just too much to watch.

Of the shows I currently watch, the one I like least is probably The Vampire Diaries. But I'm curious about the current plotline, so I'll stick with it for now.

Of shows I currently watch, Warehouse 13 probably fits this category best.

It is light, it is fluffy, the characters and actors aren't particularly good. The artifacts are generally pretty lame and there is never any sense of danger or real drama.

But I watch it anyways.
