That looks really nice. Having the megaphaser--if that's what one wants to call them--closer to the central pod--lends an extra agressive look.

MMMMMMMMMMM. loves this design. Can't wait to see this beauty jump to warp or fire all weapons in a brief animation on youtube. See how she fares versus a Klingon cruiser or an Intrepid-Class from a rival Federation faction. Any chance of a battle scene on youtube?

Thanks. Actually I do try to avoid looking too federation-y. After a certain point it tends to get a little bit boring.

Textures for the roll bar are done. So I decided to do a little bit of a test on the main hull. These are just standard scanline renders instead of Mental Ray.

Yep. I thought I had mentioned that. And that one picture is the same one I have. Just a top down view so I have make everything else up myself.

UPDATE...
Trying to greeble out the cutouts on the side of the hull.

Decided to rough in the inside of the shuttlebay. At least I now know the shuttles will fit, kind of.

UPDATE...
Pretty much finished of the greebles in the cutout in the hull. Also added some detail to the back of the primary hull.

Added another transporter emitter to the front of the ship. I’m thinking I might be able to add a secondary Nav deflector to the nose of the hull. Added phasers and some panel lines.

Still thinking about the shuttlebay and what to do with it. Added a phaser strip and RCS to the back of the hull. I may want to change them and move them over to the left a little bit.

Yeah, I like RCS placed at extreme "corners" of models. Gives them more "leverage".

She is coming along well. I guessing that going by her registry that she was contemporary to classes such as the New Orleans, Challenger, and Steamrunner.

I saw your thread on the UEG on Subspace Coms, and was wondering if you were going to also going to post that work here too.
