I am extremely pleased..... my games rarely last 4 and a half hours, much less 4 and a half days. I even had a second picture and text clues all ready to go if it wasn't discovered by tonight. It's all yours, Sparky.

Oh man, it makes sense now.

Never did play the game, wasn't fond of 3D remakes of classic arcade games.

^Yeah, my next picture was actually going to have the centipedes in it, which I'm sure would have given it right away. I haven't played the game in.... shit, it's been over 10 years I think. Picked it up at a school book fair as a kid. Played it all the time. Graphics were pretty lousy, even for back then, but to a little kid who was only allowed 1 hour of game time per week, it was the best thing I had ever come across.

Technically yes, that is correct. However Devil World was the two player variant. It was updated to include a third playable character and many of the maps were altered, this version was released as Dark Adventure.

I urge anyone who has a chance to play Devil World to play it. It's a real fun variation on the Gauntlet formula. I ran into it years ago in a pizza place. Never played it (till much later) but the marquee art caught my attention. Watched some guys play it and it looked hecka cool. Of course wen you're young graphics look better, meaning that to me the graphics appeared photo realistic. Of course you can tell from that screenshot that they most assuredly are not
