Well Shannon confirmed that he is indeed wearing a mocap suit as Zod. Still not sure if it's for some kind of battle armor, or maybe an energy suit like we saw in GL...
Or who knows, maybe he'll be all huge and roided out like Hulk.
This pic makes me think how cool it would be to see a period piece Superman. This could be set anytime between the '30s and the '50s.![]()
Looks perfect. Just CGI a globe on top

Perhaps this will help, because that's all that image is really.
Trunks, underwear... whatever you want to call them, they're outdated.

I'll be super-stalking the production for the next week and a half!Zack Snyder's Superman movie Man of Steel has moved down the road from Plano, Illinois to Chicago, where the production will start shooting today for the next 10 days through September 17. After that, the production will head to Vancouver for the rest of the shoot.
Chicago Business reports that the Chicago Board of Trade building (previously used for Wayne Tower in Batman Begins) will be used as The Daily Planet in the movie, while Willis Tower in the city will serve as the newspaper's interiors.![]()
Synder- Okay everyone. You all have a photo of the person to be on the lookout for. He is to be restrained on site by order of the Nolan.

Oh I get the joke but I disagree of your opinion on it.
My first day stalking the set! I am pretty sure I spotted Laurence Fishburne!
The Sears Tower, where they are filming the Daily Planet interiors. I spotted an old-timey taxi and some cameras. Unfortunately, I tried to take pictures, but security shooed me away.
You still call it the Sears Tower?
You still call it the Sears Tower?
Is there something else we should be calling it?
Nope. Can't hear you, sorry.
It's the Sears Tower. Always has been, always will be.
