Welcome to Starbase 51, Pegasus Sector

Forbin

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Been working on this much longer than it looks. (Okay, it's been laying around half finished for a couple years).
Pegasus Models' Area 51 UFO, three Pegasus Alpha Centauri UFOs, Four GameScience starhsip minis (plus two kitbashd out of Warhammer missiles), lotsa Evergreen plastic, lotsa homemade decals. The decals on the ships are the JMC ones from 1999.

Serious depth of field trouble there - the shuttle landing "shelves" have numbered parking spaces.

Eensy weensy shuttles (3mm long for the class Fs):

The ships pop on and off so I can move them around. I may make some more with different names, I've got a ton of those GameScience minis (what scale were those again? 1/3700?)

Damn, that's GOOD, Forbin! By the way, I've been meaning to ask - did you once live in the Austin, Tx area, many moons ago?

Tanks, kids! :)

Nope. Jersey boy, all my life.
My Dad trained at Moore Field in 1943 and 44, though. That was somewhere in Texas. :D

I'm loving the eensy weensy shuttles. And I've rarely seen those GameScience minis turn out so well.

I, too, still have some spare Tau missiles from my old 40K days. I like what you've done with them. Lovely work!

Great work as always. I am jealous of your skills (and the time you have to put into it - my kids have their game consoles set up where I do my work and the effect is quite...distracting).

Thanks! Those JMC decals contribute greatly to their quality. Glad they were still good after 12 years!

This is fantastic! I wish I'd had this much creativity and patience when I used to build models.

Patience?! What's that!?
If I was patient, this thing would be MUCH more detailed and have things like Regula-1 style tanks under it and blade antennas galore popping out of the top. I tend to hit a wall during a project and just declare it done. :)
