Star Wars: The Clone Wars S4

Of course Anakin becomes Vader by increments. The films always talked about the "path to the Dark Side" ... not the "transporter beam to the Dark Side." :p

well at least there keeping the quaren in there right place in the series. I am just wondering who the new mon cal general is?

^ Does it really matter how many increments though? Everyone knows he eventually becomes Darth Vader. I don't think the series has diminished Anakin's path to the dark side at all. In fact as I've stated in other Clone Wars discussions I believe it has enhanced it and made it more interesting.

I always thought being angry that the Jedi didn't free his mother and what happened as a result would have been a major reason why Anakin turned to the dark side.

But he never said anything about it all, which came off as odd.

ROTS focused on why he was angry he wasn't made a master, and that he didn't trust the Jedi (which didn't make much sense).

His turned to the dark side seemed kind of forced, though I still enjoyed it.

TCW is slowly showing his frustration with how the Jedi did things which is pretty smart.

Why didn't the Jedi buy Shmi's freedom?

Yes. Otherwise it becomes the Death Star plans and belabors the point. Instead of a turn motivated by Padme we get a turn motivated by its own inevitability - a retcon.

"I like the color blue. I like different shades of blue. I just don't like how many shades of blue there are in the paint samples."

"I like the color Luke. I like different shades of Luke. I just don't think there were enough incremental dark side moves for Luke in ROTJ. More is always better."

How does Anakin's turn become all about the Death Star plans? You say these type of things but don't elaborate on your points. Anakin's turn wasn't caused by any one event, but a series of them that ultimately culminated in "Revenge of the Sith". That's really the point.

Yes, when confronted with the obvious, a nonsensical argument is always the best response. Because, obviously, comparing the events of a TV show set between films is absolutely the equivalent of comparing the events of just films by themselves.

Wow. That premeire was amazing. Impressive in every way.

Temis, you're the one who said he wanted to see more than droids and clones getting killed, right? Well you got your wish with this episode...

Damn, I had to work, but I do plan on watching this and Young Justice first thing when I wake up in the morning.
