By the way, that song totally disturbs me. I don't really understand how it became a real song that is popular and on the radio. It reminds me more of a Weird Al version of a Katy Perry song, or one of those spoof music videos on Get Him to the Greek.

I'm not sure which is more disturbing to my psyche: thinking of Weird Al at the same time as Katy Perry, or thinking of Kanye West at the same time as her.

As long as its no vidian or kazon. I would had for something to go wrong and end up with a kid that either looked like it just got its face torn off by zombies or have a kid with a pineapple for a head. Imagine the birth! 
There's actually some good fanfic out there with no perverse sex, and some that doesn't even feature shipping. I've seen some posted here (such as by the United Trek authors) that I think is near or at publishable quality.
On subject...obviously there would have to be some serious compatibility considerations first--on physical, intellectual, and emotional levels. IF we were talking Trek-type aliens, where there is indeed a great deal of similarity in those areas, it would then come down to the same factors that determine any relationship for me: would there be what it takes for a lifetime commitment to marry and raise a family together?
Of course, if there's no compatibility in any one of those areas, then the idea would be out.

My answer was Maybe. It would be largely dependent on anatomic compatibility, i.e., the appendages and orifices involved. My first choice would be an alien being that resembled Brent Corrigan.
That really depends. Said alien would have to be humanoid, and female with compatible genitalia. She would also have to be at least somewhat attractive to human beings. I'll show my inner comic nerd by breaking it down like this: Soranik Natu or Arisia =Hell yes. Kryb =Hell no.
