Well, I noticed a few people asking this question in the other thread....
The answer is yes
I picked this up launch day and I would have to say that it ties in very nicely to what made the original such a great game. The world feels huge and alive. The gameplay also feels very tight. Most importantly, the story is awesome as well.
One of the best things about the game however is that it is able to incorporate alot of modern game design conventions (regenerating health for example) while still being able to hold onto the feel of the original.
Best of all, the game actually looks nice...something the original was never really able to pull off lol.
I would go out on a limb and say that anyone who is a fan of RPGs or FPSs should give the game a shot. Considering the audience of the Trek BBS I would say it is a definite must buy.
