ive already said im not posting for a pro Pony thread as it wouldnt be for me, not as a favour to you guys.At least hes not in our dedicated thread.
no I dont like the attitude of the thread, at the moment, the attitude about thread bombs is very telling.I just love how Wabmue or whatever, hates the show so much and seems to positively dispise this thread, yet keeps on coming back here to respond to us over and over again as if it'll change anything, when he didn't even start the thread, which is a Pony thread to being with
But hey, I have over 600 of these bombs, growing by about 20 per day now, if he wants to keep this up until the end of Season 2 a year from now, thats fine by me.![]()

"Maybe in the future ill just decide that people who let memes talk for them, are not worth talking to."
where have I said I hated the show, ive not seen the showed, ive simply said that its totally unrealstic in the real world for people to be nice all the time, and that humans evolved hate for a reason.Pinky tumble!

Fluttershy does not look happy
And as for the memes, well if someone has already made up their mind to hate the show, I will not waste my time arguing with that stuck up person, if they want to submit themselves to hundreds of bombs for no other reason than stubborness, they get the heart attack they deserve.
could you please tell that to ChemahkuuExplorerAtHeart Since when did i let the meme talk for me?
Since when did i let the meme talk for me? I don't really consider the a meme anymore.. its a way of life (o.o)"Maybe in the future ill just decide that people who let memes talk for them, are not worth talking to."

Memes are a way for people to join in on something they see as fun. The memes are harmless, and memes are no more distracting to human communication than any other form of media.I also said about memes that often get in the way of good communcation, and serve as a distraction.
I am going to log off now, make my tea, but its for that reason alone.
lets not forget what happened in Serenity when the Alliance tried to remove agerssion.
your not totally wrong, but if i look back at Kids TV now im an adullt I see them with fresh eyes, and the nice do goooder characters often dont hold up.
Watching the show, you can see that the ponies there run the full gamut of emotions from elation to depression and everything in between. The point of the show is that one's friendship with others can weather such storms if it is based on loyalty, compassion, humor, etc.
I'm a fan of Dr. Who, and I fully realize it's a fictional environment where people behave differently than they would here in the real world.
if only that was reflected in how the fans preach about the friendship and love of Ponies, in discussions about the show.Firstly, no pony is nice all of the time in the world of Equestria.
I would hardly say they have been helpful to this thread.Memes are a way for people to join in on something they see as fun. The memes are harmless, and memes are no more distracting to human communication than any other form of media.
I had not realised I had been going around taking the same attitude towards Doctor Who that you apparntly have with My Little Pony.I mean as if Doctor Who is the bastion of depth and complexity and never ever at all becomes childish and shows good winning over evil or anything like that.![]()
however haterd can lead to anger.Aggression =/ hatred. I think that's a critical mistake you're making.
because I struggle to see how such an over whelmingly postivite outlook, can have the same results in real life, as it does in a TV show, which is normally written to have some kind of happy ending, or even just an endnig. Life has no endings, sure we change jobs, we leave school, we get married, get divorced, but there are no cliff hangers, no spin-offs, life goes on regardless of anyones attempt to tie a neat story telling ribbon on it.your not totally wrong, but if i look back at Kids TV now im an adullt I see them with fresh eyes, and the nice do goooder characters often dont hold up.
Because they're nice or because they're poorly written?
cant speak for anybody else, but I dont take the moral code of a TV show out into the real world, be that a good or bad moral code. Maybe the show informs me on a level, but lifes problems are rarely solved by quoting Doctor Who.Yeah, me too. In fact, I find it kinda weird that a big Who fan like yourself is so anti-optimism, wamdue; I don't know if I can think of a modern live action show that's more grounded in optimism, compassion, loyalty, etc. and opposed to hatred and violence.
