Hey, how about we combine the power of our uber-creative minds to create the ultimate Star Trek: Ponies experience?

whcih make me wonder why hate is still part of humanity, if that was the case we would have evolved out of it.

Cause we have not evolved out of it yet. If hate continues we will die.

Pony Fandom aside (just for a moment) I dont think I believe that.

There is some reason we hate, and its not simply becasue we have not evolved out of it yet.


On some level the capcity to hate, is useful to humans.

does that ever work outside of kids TV? That kind of attitude can seem annonying in adults.

Apparently it can work, since the most popular demographic of the show is 18-35.

He forgot to mention they're all flawed in someway. Pinkie Pie is extremely outgoing to the point of being annoying, Rarity is a workaholic, Applejack is very stubborn, Rainbow Dash is an extreme braggart, Fluttershy is extremely shy and prefers the company of wild animals, and Twilight Sparkle is anti-social. It's these flaws that make the stories so entertaining.

You find compassion, loyalty, honesty, generosity, kindness, good humor, and teamwork annoying?

I find the kind of person who preaches on about teamwork to be highly annoying. However im sure we all know a do-gooder type who over does it on at least one of those qualites.

Perhaps, but seeing more of those traits being praised makes a nice contrast with a lot of tv.

it might help if i could come up with a reason why hate is useful to us now, I just suspect that if we removed all hate, life would be rainbows and puppys (forget what im refrencing their but not MLP)

lets not forget what happened in Serenity when the Alliance tried to remove agerssion.

Perhaps, but seeing more of those traits being praised makes a nice contrast with a lot of tv.

your not totally wrong, but if i look back at Kids TV now im an adullt I see them with fresh eyes, and the nice do goooder characters often dont hold up.

no im posting in "pony avatars: WTF?" to me that means a thread to discuss the Pony avatars and at the moment if Ponys calling someone stupid can be counted as a flame or not, not MLP itself.

TBH this line of discussion is far more offensive than the stupid comment, as I accpeted im not making a good case.

I just love how Wabmue or whatever, hates the show so much and seems to positively dispise this thread, yet keeps on coming back here to respond to us over and over again as if it'll change anything, when he didn't even start the thread, which is a Pony thread to being with

But hey, I have over 600 of these bombs, growing by about 20 per day now, if he wants to keep this up until the end of Season 2 a year from now, thats fine by me.
