Have you ever been dumped for playing videogames too much?

Have you ever given greater preference with playing any particular video game/s over your
(former or current) girlfriend - boyfriend, wife - husband, friends and family and if so, what's been the
most humorous experience/s you've had with this, like say they dumped you, they got you back for it
and/or they played a joke on you in return, or vice versa.

Yes, i remember a time when i was playing counter strike online and had been on it for hours and hours and during this time i eaten a large bead salad with prune juice to wash it down, and i was really really bursting for the bathroom, almost touching cloth, but i could not stop playing this game and evenntually without my consent i...........of wait.........."BEEN DUMPED!!!"....my mistake, i misread the title.......erm......well...........nice weather...........i'l get me coat.

I was dumped because instead of taking her out, I was spending my evenings deep within Molten Core with 39 other men back when I was heavily into World of Warcraft.

I stopped playing shortly afterward.

I had that same problem with girls. Well that, and they didn't like me because I was also in a wheelchair.

That said, no, I've never been dumped because of video games, which I never play all that much anyhow.

In fact, the opposite. I once was playing a game with my roommate, I don't remember which, and my girlfriend at the time called and asked if I was coming over. I said not right now, maybe later because I was busy.

She said, "Don't you want to spend time with me?"

I think I knew then it wasn't going to work. Mind you, this was when I was in college; her room was in the next building over, and we even had a class together, so I'd already spent a solid chunk of the day with her. I just wanted to relax for a couple hours and hang out with my roommate.

I consider myself a pretty hardcore gamer, but I've never been the type who needs to play. I can easily go for weeks without touching a video game. I also dislike timesink games like WoW, so no problems in that area for me. Now if only I could get a girlfriend.
