The Dark Knight Rises Anticipation Station

I'll be one of only a handful of the worlds populace not going to see Potter but I do want to see this teaser trailer.

I've read that there are some people who are planning to watch the trailer and ditch the theater right afterwards
Agree with Admiral Young on that.
Even without the super dominance of the internet when TPM debuted I wouln't have paid and then ditched. Heck then I was just out of college and $$$ was super tight.

I'll be fighting the crowds for the midnight release of Potter... and the DKR trailer may be my favorite part of the whole thing lol.

I'd bet money on getting a little bit of visuals in the teaser trailer.

The reason the TDK teaser had nothing but audio and a logo was, it was released about a month into filming. TDK had an extra trailer or two all said.

This flick, it's been shooting 9 weeks, so I expect some visuals.

There is a rumored description of the dialogue going around, no idea if it's legit... it does have Bane saying he'll break someone though... so... cool if it's legit.

I can't wait to see what color scheme they go with. Batman Begins was copper-ish and The Dark Knight was blue/cyan. What will The Dark Knight Rises use?
Orange and teal.

(Fan Art)

As for the real poster, I'm surprised that a number of people didn't notice the bat symbol right away.

Also, someone in the comments section saw a Superman logo...

The logo sheet at the Licensing Expo had a purple hue. So I'm guessing it will be blue-ish purple.
Between what you're saying and the poster, they don't seem to be deviating much from The Dark Knight, at least with the early stuff.

I saw the Bat-logo in the poster immediately, but everything around it looked more like a Borg cube with a Bat-shaped hole than a crumbling metropolis.

Of course, I can imagine Batman have contingency plans for the Borg; Batman plans for everything, after all. "Assimilate this Batarang, Borg Queen!" :)

^ Indeed. I like the poster a lot. I can't say that I can see the House of El crest in that poster. Bleeding Cool doesn't think so either.

Since I know what shape I'm looking for, sure I can see what some thinks is the El crest but it's not.

I think this is more akin to pointing out clouds. We look at the same one and I see a boat but you see an airplane and our third friend sees a car.
