wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

Honestly, I could write answers myself, but I'm trying to show timothy that it's pretty easy to find answers to most of his questions on the web. :p

You are a gentleman and a scholar.

As a great man once said:
“Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.”

Since this weeks RAW was double taped due to WWE's upcoming international tour, we have the knowledge of the fallout from this weeks RAW already.

Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres beat The Bella Twins

David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty beat Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov. Zack Ryder appeared on the stage after the match

Jack Swagger beat Sgt. Slaughter.

Alberto Del Rio beat R-Truth and Rey Mysterio

Alex Riley beat The Miz

Vince comes out and talks about Punk. Cena comes out and has a go at Vince for suspending Punk for speaking his mind. Cena throws the belt at Vince and says that if Punk isn't reinstated and given his title shot, then he's walking. Vince reinstates Punk and his title shot on the condition that if Cena loses the title, he is fired.

One of the best worked shoots I've ever seen, and it was certainly one of Raw's best moments in recent memory. I'll never go in for the notion that CM Punk is some kind of wrestling Jesus, but he's a huge asset to whatever company he's with, and I hope WWE lets him run with the fallout from this past Raw. I think he's more than capable of it.

I'll go on record one more time as saying I like Cena, and I enjoy him on TV, but I'll also agree that something dramatic needs to happen to not only get the company out of the doldrums (which I don't hold him completely responsible for by any means--I know a lot of the IWC loves to), but to give the guy some much-needed depth and to enhance his credibility. Cena has never really gone through hell. I think that's part of the problem. He's capable of a lot more than what we tend to see out of him, and this promo from Punk might put him in a position where he can remind people of that.

I'm looking forward to Rock/Cena, but it's going to be meaningless if something dramatic doesn't happen with Cena and soon.

I read the RAW spoilers this morning. Obviously I need to actually watch the show, but it sounds like they might be on the right track as far as keeping the momentum. The closing moments from what I've read sound like they added a good layer of intrigue the Punk/Cena title match.

It'll also be interesting to see what happens if we get another Austin/Punk confrontation in the near future (and I certainly hope we do).

new stipulation with cm punk and john cena. cm was suspended but john fights for reinstatement for cm punk. how ever if john loses his match at money in the bank john is fired. it seems cm punk want too much money for his resighning.

You might want to hide that just in case anyone wanted to actually see Raw next week. Thanks for spoiling. :wtf:

I'm calling it right now.

Punk will win the title at Money in the Bank. He'll cut another scathing promo about how he was right all along about leaving with the WWE title, but then get interrupted by whoever won the RAW MitB match.

Kick. Wham. Finisher. New Champion.

I ideally this will be someone who has never won the title before, preferably a Face. Since, taking the title off Punk will turn them face by default.

Unless of course, Punk beats the RAW MITB winner fair and square to garner even more heat. It would actually be incredible.

I think Punk is already resigned myself and this whole thing is the base of a new program for him. I think he will win the title either way. I seriously do not think he would walk away from the company. If he does, it won't be as champion. He has far too much respect for the business to do that.

so what about the hole firing stipulation with john cena. that will cancell out his wm match with dwayne. but I so like cm punk as both face and as heel.

I'd imagine that they'd do something similar to what they did when Cena was fired during the nexus angle. One thing you can be sure of with pro wrestling is when someone is kayfabe fired, they will always return within a few months at the latest.

WWE have shot themselves in the foot a little by boosting Cena's in ring appearances with him as champion. If Cena gets injured, his match with The Rock could very well be scrapped. I think they need to have Cena lose the belt sometime this summer and regain it shortly before Wrestlemania, if they intend to have him defend it against The Rock.

is he doing a movie this fall? if so that would be perfect reason to leave for a short while.

did some checking he does have something called "family reunion"

Well, WWE Studios have four yet to be cast movies in the works, so its possible. But I'd imagine they want to keep Cena on TV no matter what.

why do a firing story arc if one not even needed. most of them are pretty lame. still going to watch monday night raw even if it's prerecorded.

The main exception that jumps to mind is Chris Jericho.

Yeah I suppose to some extent and we could also argue that this doesn't really count since it was known he would be taking time off, it just so happened a couple of months turned into two years!
