NHL 2010/2011 season....

Heh, guess a little momentum shift, and essentially a no-confidence vote in a goalie that's locked up the next 8 years or so will do that to a fan... ;)

If the Bruins can keep up the pressure on the Canucks' goalie, could be the end of the line soon. He seems pretty shell-shocked right now. We'll see how a change of venues plays for him, i guess. The Canucks have better skill players, but if the Bruins can keep them playing their brand of more physical/tough hockey, I don't know if the Canucks come back from that.

Just gotta hope the series ends before the Bruins run out of their little head of steam. They're doing a great job on penalty kills, and Thomas is playing out of his mind, but how long can they really keep that up?

If Vancouver can't solve Thomas and they don't start playing smarter they're they'll be leaving the rink empty handed.

Montreal played against Boston better than Vancouver and those were one goal wins and the series went the distance.

I hate the Bruins, but they're playing better and I think are likely to win it.

I'd never claim Luongo for my team. Sure he won the Gold, sure he's in the Stanley Cup Final, but he is just too unstable. When one asks the question "Who do you want starting in goal for Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final?", my answer isn't Roberto Luongo.

Damn.

It's weird how the games in Vancouver have been really close, and the games in Boston have been...not so much.

Nice mental win for the Canucks tonight, but it's pretty much the two teams have held serve. I'm hoping this series goes 7 games just as a Hockey fan whose enjoying these playoffs overall.

The Canucks playing in Vancouver and the Canucks playing in Boston are almost like two completely different teams. They had a lot more energy tonight than in games 3 and 4. I'm just thankful Game 7 is going to be at home.

I'm hoping the Canucks can get it on Monday. It's the only day I'll be able to get over to Vancouver and join the crowds.

gotta give it to the Canucks, really came out and had a great game. Played a tough, physical game. Boston's gotta step it up, although it was another great 1-0 game...

^ Over to Vancouver? Are you on Van Island?

I am but work all next week and it would cost me a months wages just to get in to the game if it goes 7, so unless I won Lotto Max on Friday or the 6/49 Saturday I'm watching at home.
Go Canucks!

As much as I'd like them to win it during a home game, I stupidly made dinner plans for next Wednesday so can't make it over to Van either (I had assumed games would be Sunday and Tuesday). So now I'm hoping they win it on Monday...

Thought this was funny, the Canucks got slapped down by the NHL after game 5 for trying to sell broadcasting rights to the Stanley Cup parade. Hope that little presumption comes back to bite them, certainly tempting fate...

Vancouver, the land of the fairweather fan (I should know, I have the misfortune of living there). Quite a bit amusing to see the about face now that Luongo managed to hold a game with 0 goals. They were basically calling for his head after game 4.

This series will likely end with a game 7, and if Boston decides to play like shit akin to the last 3 games in Vancouver, they can kiss the Stanley Cup goodbye.
