Who never guest starred on TOS that should have?

Mike Farrell was also in "The Six Million Dollar Man", playing an astronaut who gets a space virus and turns into a monster or something.

Ray Bolger! (Hey, the scarecrow later did a two-parter on the original Battlestar Gallactica.)

How about some of the actors who already had appeared on The Twilight Zone or The Untouchables? Ed Asner, Jack Klugman, Donna Douglas?

Or Darren McGavin (whose wife played the Scalosian leader)?

And forgive me, but Jonathan Harris!

Mick Jagger as Adam in The Way to Eden (the jam session with Spock would have been something else entirely and you know Rand and Uhura both would have gotten laid--perhaps at the same time--that night).
Except that Rand wasn't on the ship in the third season. ;)

As has been mentioned on these boards before, Jack Lord (the original HAWAII FIVE-O) would've made a great starship captain or base commander.
"Book 'em, Spocko!" :p

. . . It would be absolutely hilarious if the Enterprise was sent to rescue a starship in distress, and to have "Number One" brought to McCoy's sickbay from treatment by Nurse Chapel via the split-screen effect.
And how would the similarity in their appearance be explained? Are they sisters? Twins? Wait, I’ve got it — IDENTICAL COUSINS! Yeah, that’s the ticket . . . ;)
Hey, it works on General Hospital...
^ If he was assimilated, he could be: Ernest. Borg Nine.
:guffaw:

Some 60s Brit femme talent:

Julie Christie - would have made a more alluring Keeler (and has SF credits to boot)
Rita Tushingham - alt Miri? (would make ep marginally more bearable :)) Or the yeoman who turns into old lady?
Lynn Redgrave - could have made a cute away-mission yeoman.
Honor Blackman - hmmm, hard to place. Possibly one of Muldaur's roles. Or Rom Commander?

also...

Claudia Cardinale - definitely Elaan

Bette Davis - still working I think in sixties? Could have had interesting take on T'Pau...

. . . Honor Blackman - hmmm, hard to place. Possibly one of Muldaur's roles. Or Rom Commander?
Honor Blackman would have made a great Romulan.

Ah, but if Anthony Zerbe had appeared on TOS, would he have been able to die a horribly graphic onscreen death like his characters are known to do?
