Plinkett's review of Nemesis

For those of us who know not who or what a "Plinkett" might be, is there perhaps a link that could be provided? Or maybe a clue phrased in the form of a question?

In your own opinion..AND to my dismay, several "boat-jumpers" that simply agree with the assnine so-called "media critic"....

Calm down, he's just another dude on the internet.

I agree with him on the cymbals, space instruments (and space tape from the Generations photo album) do take me out of the TNG universe a little bit.

Not to mention the nonsencial internet cliche "in your opinion." I very rarely use the abbreviation "IMO/IMHO" or the words because it's redundant. I'm making a qualitative statement so it's an opinion; I'm the one making it so it's mine.

I really don't need that pointed out and if that's the sole purpose of the post then I guess the poster really has nothing better to do with their time. Perhaps a typical in-person conversation would consist of the temperature of the surrounding air and the colour of the sky being noted?

Stating "in your opinion" in a debate actually means "I don't quite know how to react when people disagree with me, it makes me feel uncomfortable so stop disagreeing with me so blatantly and let's skip the debate altogether".

Huh. Hadn't seen that before. Funny shit.

"Wait, Janeway's an admiral? Shouldn't she be, like, in prison?!"

Oh my, It seems that I stirred up the "RLMer's"...

Yeah, pretty awesome. Nemesis really deserved the multi-part treatment it was such an offense.

And yet again that is your own opinion. Was it one of the best Star Trek movies? Probably not. I place the blame on it solely on Baird himself. I mean,..someone who NEVER watched Trek in his life and only directed two films in his life, BOTH were mediocre at best. ( I could see Tommy Lee totally ignoring his "suggestions" in U.S. Marshalls.)
I would rather watch Nemesis rather than "2009".
But when the people at RLM have oscars under their belts, he/they are just another Fad.

Dude, there's no "Red Letter Media Cult", as you seem to be implying. The guy put together some entertaining videos bashing a few movies that lots and lots of people hate.

It's not like anybody watched it and went "Gee, that was so fucking slick that I'll now arbitrarily revise my opinion of that movie! Red Letter Media has ensnared me with it's devilish wiles!"

It's bitching about Star Wars and Star Trek. Not exactly groundbreaking stuff on the internet, my friend.

Mine and many others. And you're right, not one of the best, but the absolute worst. I would rather watch Star Trek V than that piece of trash. As bad as the TNG films were I could not believe that thing was made; it's the only Star Trek film I regret seeing in the cinema.

I don't like it in case you can't tell..and what you may call entertaining I can call crap... ;)

And I would watch any of them "old" movies but if I had my choice...I would watch Nemesis over TFF.
