I've got a bad feeling about this... and an urge to find Fred's club... then take MacFarlane to the Loyal Order of Water Buffalos... then let them take a few whacks at him.
Mila Kunis?
What do we have to do to get Seth MacFarlane to stop making cartoons?
Seconded. If it's anything like the more adult shorts that I saw on Cartoon Network a few years back, it might turn out really well. They were really clever and clearly aimed at a more mature audience, but weren't particularly vulgar or aggressive.
But I kinda doubt it with this guy.

The Flintstones did occasionally make references to popular culture.. . . What makes cartoons like these timeless are the lack of social commentary or anything referencing popular culture, which is something that Seth McFarlane is very prone to do.
QFT.I think people are getting a bit worked up about the whole remake thing, given that The Flintstones was an animated, prehistoric version of The Honeymooners to begin with.
