Fucking brilliant, whoever gave it a Not Good, I give you satire and small regard
I don't think that question's much of a mystery.

Pity he makes so much money from his day-job or I'd be nominating him for Showrunner.

Yep!Did anyone else notice that when the TARDIS dematerialised, the Cloister bell was tolling?
Have to say, Suranne Jones does mad and gibberish way better than Sylvester McCoy under the similar circumstances... It's amusing to be echoed, shall we say, by someone on Neil Gaiman's level!
she was ALOT better than her apperance as Mona Lisa in SJA, she might even make a good female Doctor.Have to say, Suranne Jones does mad and gibberish way better than Sylvester McCoy under the similar circumstances... It's amusing to be echoed, shall we say, by someone on Neil Gaiman's level!
Looking at some of the almost religious ecstasy reactions to it, I have to say, though - it was great, but it wasn't the all-conquering, all-new reappraisal of the show's nature which popular hype had it.

At work, I know of several people who plan on watching tonight's episode solely for the Neil Gaiman factor. I disagree with some posters who think that Gaiman writing for Doctor Who is the Biggest Thing Ever, but I can't deny that within nerd culture Gaiman is a big name and a big draw.Looking at some of the almost religious ecstasy reactions to it, I have to say, though - it was great, but it wasn't the all-conquering, all-new reappraisal of the show's nature which popular hype had it.
but Joss has done alot more than that, that was early in his career.I think about the only writer that fandom would be beside itself with glee at writing Who more than Gaiman would be Joss Whedon. That actually baffles me; has no one watched Alien Resurrection?
