Finally found time to watch Voyager again, and it was fun! Though they didn't have Coleman Hawkins playing...
"Body and Soul"
I knew this was going to be a Doctor/Seven episode, and I was hoping we would get the classic Hawkins version of the song at some point:

But we didn't.
Seven seems to have a pretty short fuse with the Doctor at the beginning...I guess he's not the easiest guy to get along with.
And then they make the switcheroo--awesome! Jeri Ryan gets to do some excellent comic acting. Suddenly I could go for a giant slice of New York cheesecake.
And one of Larry Sanders' ex-wives is on the ship! Who would have guessed? Harry doesn't get to do much besides fake being sick, though.
Then, there's a B story with Tuvok going through pon farr, with only Paris there to help him through it. And Paris either has stones the size of a red giant, or is a moron. Here's why: There's a dude that's three times as strong as you who's been force-fed Viagra (more or less) and must mate or he'll die. You're the pretty-boy lieutenant. Wouldn't you want to stop the wisecracking and get the hell out of there before the super-strong, super-horny dude connects the dots?
And wasn't T'Pel the name of the faux Vulcan ambassador from "Data's Day?"
Plus, of course, his solution involves a holodeck. And poor Tuvok has to accept it. Until it gets turned off.
On the other ship, Ranek is putting the moves on the Doc in Seven's body, and legions of slash writers begin to contemplate the implications of Seven sensing the Doctor becoming sexually aroused while in her body.
This was a really, really enjoyable episode to watch...there was just so much to laugh at. And Ryan really nailed Picardo's cadences as the Doctor. On the whole, it reminded me of a classic Hollywood farce--in a good way.
Touching final scene, as well, with the shared meal.
