Voyager C (Ent. H Variant)

What I like about having a few completed designs is, I also have some parts in the parts bin, so I don't have to keep re-inventing the wheel.

Things go MUCH quicker this way.

May I present my concept for a Voyager C (work very much still in progress, obviously...)

fascinating... it appears to use a pair of PS3 Move controllers for propulsion. :D

Eh, I kind of like the arrow shaped hull first introduced in the Vivace class, and you might want to look at Galen's Wayfarer class, since this ship is technically supposed to be the Wayfarer's descendant.

On the other hand, this is clearly nothing more than the equivalent of a sketch, so maybe I should reserve judgment a little.
It also seems to be a possibility that letters will no longer be used for Voyager, if Galen's Wayfarer is anything to go by. Though if this were somewhere in the 2470's (give or take a decade), that should leave just enough time for Galen's Voyager to have existed, get replaced by another Voyager, which goes back to using letters (this time B), and get replaced by this ship (C). This would probably make the Voyager somewhat unlucky as a name, since I would expect that the hulls were meant to last 100 years, but there would be about 30 years between each ship, but it could work.

What? Your canon fire went right over my head.

They aren't canon, but I do think that it would be nice to acknowledge DJ Curtis's and Galen's works, since they both have created ships with the name Voyager (and DJ Curtis's Vivace class does have a following, and well, I predict that Galen's Wayfarer class will become quite well known in the future), and to try to accommodate for the existence of these ships when creating your own Voyager. You might not necessarily have to do this, but I think that it would be a nice thing to do.

Let me just put it this way: it will make it much easier for me to come to accept your design and integrate it into 'my' universe, since I've already done this with the Vivace and Wayfarer classes.

I, ummm... don't doubt that it can be a fun artistic exercise, making one's own work "fit in" with that of other's designs.

I haven't elected to do that. You are free to do that with your stuff, if you want.

Oh, you can bet that is what I'm going to do, even if it is only in the form of little references here and there.

Is that guy arguing about whose made up shit is more valid? Wow.

Erifah, looking nice apart from the nacelles.

Yeah. What he and everyone else don't realize is, I have actually invented a temporal device I call a "time machine", and with this "time machine", I have actually been to the future and seen the actual spaceships that are actually used by Starfleet, and drawn exactly what I have actually seen. Therefore, MY shit is actually the most valid because it isn't made up, it's actually the real McCoy!

I can't actually back any of that up.
