Had some good ideas, but ultimately, I'll go with this:

Or maybe I should go with this?

I don't know..... I think the one from "The Abyss" is more interesting.

How come such an open-ended theme doesn't get many entries? :(
[B}RoJo[/B] is right. It needs a little more time, probably just because it IS open-ended. That may be making folks think a little harder to come up with good ideas.

I rather like the idea of the plays on words (big surprise there, eh?) such as "River" Song/Tam or Amy "Pond".

If we allow River Song and Amy Pond, someone's gonna have to complete the trifecta and submit an avatar of Jackson Lake.

Well, that seems to have flown right over your head. :p ;)

Probably because I don't know who the frak Jackson Lake is. :rommie: Or Amy Pond for that matter.

Anyway, I hearby submit the most crucial use of a liquid in sf/f history...and if the Wicked Witch was allergic to water, she must have smelled worse than Toto and the Cowardly Lion combined.

Vote :bolian:

In the Wicked Series, she used Oils and was apparently squeaky clean. (Can't vouch for Baum's original books)

Jackson Lake
River
Song
Amy Pond

Are all Dr. Who characters

Yeah, I'll stick to "The Abyss".

These two are just for the heck of it:

Lady of the Lake from the Sam Neill "Merlin" TV mini-series.
