Well, basically they're webisodes of Erica using a webcam. I don't think they're all that important. You can find them on Youtube, I think.
I never meant to suggest that the only way Sam could ever get her life back was if it was given to her by Josh.
Josh is being bad and I just wanted to call him a douche.
Really didn't expect to get raked over the coals (of an exploding TARDIS) for it either.
Edit: Just watched Episode 2x08 and it looks like Sam finally started asking herself the hard questions. I'm starting to wonder if Josh will ever come clean with her though.
For a second I thought you guys were talking about Kai. I love Kai and his story is a fascinating one. But yeah, I'm not too fond of Ethan either, especially after the season 2 finale. To be honest I could care less about Ethan, but maybe that's just me. I just don't see why he's such a great guy.
Erica's BlogQuick Question: I ran across some information about a webseries for Being Erica and I was just wondering if it's worth the time to track down the episodes?
Don't get overly excited. In my opinion season 2 is the best season thus far and there is a little dip in the quality of season 3. The show is still good, but season 3 feels somewhat like a filler stuffed in before the final arc of Erica's journey begins.
I don't like that they abandoned Sam's bad marriage either, but the rest, I think they'll deal with to some degree. Season 3 seemed like it was more about hinting at what was yet to come rather than avoiding anything. They also finished (or abandoned) the best, most intense plot threads from the previous seasons - the mystery surrounding Erica's brother's death was dealt with. The tension around Sam's marriage to that asshole - finished. The extremely well-done tension surrounding Erica's love for Kai - abandoned. The question of why Erica doesn't seem to be around during Kai's timeline, and the mystery surrounding the "disaster" that befalls Toronto - barely touched upon.
I'm affraid that they're going to go this route too. I don't want to see her give up being a doctor because what they can do seems way too cool to give up on....I suspect Erica will ultimately abandon being a Doctor in favor of putting all her efforts into her family and 50/50.
As a scifi aficionado, I would enjoy seeing Erica and Kai together.
However, I understand the writers wanting Erica to remain grounded as an ordinary woman that the audience can relate to. I am pretty sure many young women look towards Erica as a role model. Giving Erica a boyfriend from the future may be pushing the non-scifi audience's suspension of belief, and risks turning Erica into some kind of super heroine. In fact, this is part of the reason why I suspect Erica will ultimately abandon being a Doctor in favor of putting all her efforts into her family and 50/50.
I also suspect we won't know what that future disaster is. However, I do hope the producers do answer why Doctor Nadiaa keeps trying to interfere in Erica's therapy, and how Doctor Arthur fits into the whole scheme of things.
