Not sure how long ago one of these threads appeared on the forum, hopefully long enough to make it an interesting one since opinions do change. I made a few searches and couldn't find one, so here it is. List, in order if possible, your top ten favorite episodes of TOS.

 

It'd probably be easier if you asked me which one of my kids were my favorite.

 

In order of my popularity:

1) The Corbomite Manuever <--- Best Star Trek episode from any series (IMO)
2) Arena
3) Where No Man Has Gone Before
4) The Doomsday Machine
5) The Ultimate Computer
6) Journey To Babel
7) Balance of Terror
8) Amok Time
9) Elaan of Troyius (I have a soft spot for this one as it was the first Star Trek episode I saw first run on NBC. I was 6 years old.)

Journey To Babel (Sarek; first emotional/family dynamic Trek)

I'm impressed that two other people have The Paradise Syndrome on their lists! I thought that was one of those "bad" eps.

 

I just like it because I'm a hopeless romantic and I though it was cute.

 

It's a beautiful episode, and one that is both romantic and tragic.
