Torchwood: Miracle Day premiere date

cool, now that torchwood is on starz how much sex and violence can we expect?
the BBC will have some sy on this as well, pretty sure it will need to be suitable for BBC 1 primetime, most likley 9pm, ok its after the watershed, but it could do more if it was on say BBC 2 at 10pm.

It'll probably be roughly equivalent to the amount in Children of Earth.

Hopefully, they'll give us some tits or something to balance out Rhys's ass.

I'm not sure how this will be content-wise, never know, it's possible it may be more extreme for Starz and toned down for other markets. In the past, BBC America mutes the F-words and fuzzes out the nudity, so maybe it's time to turn the tide.
Anything shown on HBO/Showtime/Starz can be shown here, but BBC One is a very mainstream channel, they may tone it down for that and repeat on another channel unedited.

Maybe Jack will deliver a series of head-butts.

Head butts are only edited out in things that are on when younger children are expected to be watching. For instance if Lucas had taken a 12 instead of a PG on Episode 2 it'd have been unedited, but he wanted a PG instead. If Torchwood is going to be on after the watershed then that wouldn't be a problem... Besides which, there were numerous head butts in The Lodger...

^^ Just a bad joke on my part but thanks for the clarification.

I guess we'll see, I've always found Torchwood to be surpisingly restrained for being an "adult" show. Most of the new series lately from the premium channels like Starz have been really heavy on sex and nudity. Guessing that both Starz and the Beeb have input it will be interesting to see what this season/series of Torchwood will be like.

To be honest a lot of cable shows put me off with that. I'm no prude, I like sex, violence and swearing as much as the next man, but it often goes over the top. So I hope they don't go too far with it.

I'd say the filming's mostly done and they're releasing the names in dribs and drabs to build interest.

Apparently they're quite some way along in filming, which might mean DeLancie isn't in lots of episodes.
