His shirt isn't actually ripped open here, but it is close enough!

"Yesterday's Enterprise" is one of my favorite Patrick Stewart episodes. It's very interesting to watch the little changes he makes that make alt-Picard different from the Picard we know.
Basically, there's an incredible weight on him--he's the only one on the ship who knows the war is lost, and six months from now they'll be speaking Klingon in San Francisco. You can see this in his distance from Riker, especially his no-sell of Riker's bragging about the "pasting we gave them at [forget the name of the planet]." Once he talks to Captain Garret, it's clear that there was no Federation victory there.
He's forced to live a lie and it's eating him up. In that one scene in the briefing room he does that grinding his hands together behind his back thing that highlights just how on the brink he is.
Then, in the end, he's faced with the responsibility of making a decision that will send one of his crew to her death--but might save the Federation.
So, yeah, it's a good Picard episode.

What was the episode called that Wesly Crusher was last seen in?
and did Wesly ever come back?
maybe not just in TNG but ever?

His last ep was Jouney's End when he went off with The Traveler. As far as ever showing up again, I'm not sure if it is canon, because I'm not sure if deleted scenes can be counted, be he does show up at the Riker/Troi wedding in Nemesis inexplicably wearing a Star Fleet uniform.

It's also got a great bit of Action Picard, when he jumps over the railing to man the tactical console himself, as the Enterprise comes apart at the seams around him.
Well, I guess it would be season one, which narrows it down just a little. But I've got no idea.

you sure it was S1? really good moment for picard imo.
does anyone remember the ep where the engineer (not geordie) tells picard that high warp isn't a good idea, but picard orders "warp 8" because a crew man is in trouble or someone is in distress on a far away planet?
