Young Justice-Tonight!

that's fantastic news . also conan o'brien did a doctor fate parody of himself on his show it was funny he basicaly turned him into a character and replaced dr.fate .

Ugh, I hate it when a new cartoon starts and they only air like eight episodes before going into months and months of showing the same eight episodes three times over...

Yeah, why the massive delay? Avengers: EMH has definitely overtaken Young Justice as my preferred new superhero cartoon, partly for that reason.

Mostly, they had a choice.

Premiere the show early and try to hook people, or wait 6-8 months and take a chance the buzz had died down. Course now they're dealing with the buzz dying down after just 9 episodes.

Greg Wiesman posted about it around March I think.

But if they waited until they had 13 in the can and aired them all at once, they wouldn't have to worry about the buzz dying. Unless you're talking about previewing the show at a convention or something?

That's a long stretch. Well, at least I don't have to rush on Friday evenings for awhile, trying to catch the show at 7 p.m.

I guess that there waiting for smallville to end? if they pick back up in june. I hate these long breaks. argh

:scream::scream::scream::scream:

Collecting together the first four episodes of the series, "Young Justice: Season 1, Volume 1" will go on sale July 19, and is now available to pre-order from Amazon.com.

Just 4 eps? They should wait until the entire first season is over. :shrug:

Well instead two new episodes in June there will be none.

Cartoon Network has amended their schedule and there will be no new "YOUNG JUSTICE" episodes in June. The show moves to 6 p.m. Fridays and will continue to air in repeats at least through July 1st. Apparently, CN may seek to wait until at least another chunk of episodes are done rather than airing two now and then not knowing when more are due.

In one of Wiesman's last blog posts, he stated episodes 10-11 were ready for air and episodes 12-13 were in post-production, likely needing a few more weeks. Episodes after that are still waiting to return from Korea.

Long breaks can kill momentum, and they don't do much to diffuse the idea that this show was assembled in an awful hurry. At the very least, ratings for the show seem to be solid for CN, despite months of repeats.
