What is the difference between love and a crush?

I really don't think you understand what you are saying.
I didn't say you don't know what you are talking about. I said you don't seem to understand what you are saying. What you post and what you then say you mean are quite disconnected at times.
Do you think so? I never thought that. Maybe I'm too narcissistic for it to occur to me
Oh well if you mean what people want from love, how people express love yes a huge variety. I'm assuming the feeling of love is similar for most.
A crush is a seed. Love is a field of flowers. 
I think a crush is based more on what you think it would be like to be with that person, whereas love is based on actually being with them.
