Overseer Odo from DS9 'Crossover'

or

The Brothers Cavil from nuBSG 'Lay Down Your Burdens, Part Two'

I'd go with Odo. After all, there's more than just the two Cavills floating around out there, which kind of diminishes the doppleganger notion.

True enough, I suppose. But I did love that scene.

"I'm not a frakking Cylon. What are you people doing? *sees the other Cavil in a holdin' cell* Oh, right..."

Alright, Overseer Odo it is!

I don't know if this will work...

:)

If not I will come up with something else.

"Bowman sees progressively older versions of himself, his point of view switching each time..."

Exactly my point: of himself.

Not my ruling to make, but I'm just sayin', k?

From http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/doppelganger:
doppelganger (plural doppelgangers)
1. A ghostly double of a living person, especially one that haunts such a person.
2. An evil twin.
3. A remarkably similar double.
4. A person who has the same name as another.
5. A fantastic monster that takes the forms of people, usually after killing them.

Some of the many examples of this kind of thing from television:

On the series “Bonanza”, both Joe and Ben each encountered their own evil look-alikes during the course of the series.

On “The Bionic Woman”, there was the recurring character of Lisa Galloway, a criminal who was an exact duplicate of Jamie Sommers. Lisa at one point gained her own faux-superpowers and succeeded in impersonating Jamie.
Jamie’s bionic counterpart Steve Austin was impersonated by nogoodnik look-alikes not once, but twice during the course of his own series.

On the Brady Bunch episode “Two Petes in a Pod”, Peter Brady coincidentally enough discovered in the halls of his own school a kid named Arthur. Pete’s alter-ego wasn’t really evil, however, although he was kind of a dick.

On the “Route 66" episode “I’m Here to Kill a King”, Martin Milner’s Tod Stiles character crossed paths with an amoral political assassin named Paul Cades who was his exact double (also played by Milner).

On the “Incredible Hulk” episode “Broken Image”, Bill Bixby’s David Banner character crossed paths with an amoral mobster named Mike Cassidy who was his exact double (also played by Bixby).

And lets not forget the “Honeymooners” episode where Ed Norton encountered a gangster who looked just like him.

Milner also appeared in the “Twilight Zone” episode “Mirror Image”, which involved he and Vera Miles encountering their dopplegangers. The early “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” episode “The Case of Mr. Pelham” explores the same theme, with “Seven-Year Itch” star Tom Ewell finding that a man who looks just like him is gradually taking over his life.

“Space:1999" “The Seed of Destruction” - An alien planetoid captures commander John Koenig and sends an evil duplicate of the commander to sabotage Moonbase Alpha. But it’s plans are foiled when the Alpha crew recognizes their Commander has his hair parted on the wrong side!

“Lost in Space” - “The Anti-Matter Man” - The crew of the Jupiter II enters an alternate universe (where, of course, they encounter evil versions of themselves) - and the evil Don West has a beard!

I'll put up the voting thread tomorrow evening.

^

Never watched Red Dwarf & stopped watchin' Fringe before they got to the alternate universe.

Its just not the same without hearin' my ex yell "X-Files did it!" throughout the episodes...

:(

Ace Rimmer is the good guy, and regular Rimmer is the evil one. But I don't know if enough people know Red Dwarf to get it any votes.

Another thought: the original Parent Trap movie. That would make cute av, too. Come on, guys, we need more entries!

I guess Seven Of Nine & Seven Of Nine from a few hours earlier don't count...it is up to ToddPence.

Here is something that does fit with the original idea...from The Vampire Diaries...the vampire Katherine & her human doppelganger Elena...or vice versa depending on how you view it.

It is up to ToddPence on which one is better suited for this contest. :bolian:
