X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

Wolverine isn't very Sixties and nor does he embody the zetigeist of what Stan Lee and Jack Kirby were all about. The movie can do without him.

Maybe it'll have something to do with the FF reboot. Just a thought.

He was in Vietnam with Sabertooth killing their own platoon around this time anyways.

Love you DS av, Praetor!

We went to Borders today but I didn't see the multiple Empire magazines there to read what it actually said for myself. Maybe more will be on their website eventually, and IGN keeps promising to slowly leak out all the juice from their set visit.

I am so Wolverined out it is not funny!

What makes you say that, Shinobi? Don't you like my new avatar? I had a Sharpe one before but I went for something amusing instead. Admiral is trying to lure me into upgrading to some Fassbender avatars. I have some Dark Shadows ones, too. :)

I still think you can put Wolverine in the film without having him be in the 60's.
You just start the film with him being told by somebody(maybe Beast) of how the X-Men started and have it segue into the past.

....or have him find Xavier's journals and start reading them segue into Xaviers voice.(flashback)

And then the whole film could be dismissed as someone's crazy recollection of events?

If only Wolverine had started that way...

No, because it's Beast telling the story, not Wolvie.
So it ain't crazy. :p

Avatars are for expressing one's self ;)

I like the Total Film Magazine covers too. Again, it seems like every one else is being creative about the sixties-esque marketing but Fox. I did hear that posters are showing up in theaters at least.

Should we expect short tv spots soon?

I really like all of those covers. Definitely the best print marketing I've seen for the movie yet.
