Surely you're not referring to Lynda Carter's outfit. Certainly it was true to the Iconic Look, but, I can't imagine anyone denying it's cheeziness
It just boggles my mind that anyone thinks this costume or, especially, this actress, looks better than the Lynda Carter version. I mean it. I'm stupefied. It's as if we have absolutely no common frame of reference.
^ One thing this Wonder Woman does have above Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman is the lack of granny underwear.

My guess is that she was taken out by a bad guy (or gal). In the youtube footage they show her on the ground, getting to her feet before running.

Both costumes are equally cheesy, but I do agree Carter looks a bit better and more natural wearing it.
No doubt she's running because Adrianne Palicki ran track in high school and they want to show off her skills.
It doesn't seem like this show will be giving her the power of flight, which is something she hasn't always had in the comics or other adaptations. Instead of the invisible jet, she will reportedly have a fleet of small jets.
Sensible heels!
...It's kinda tragic how happy I am about that.
One thing I know for sure is she can act.
Although she does look kinda odd to me as such a dark brunette.
