Wonder Woman(NBC) *Spoilers!*

I'm not concerned about the courtroom thing, I'm concerned it's just going to be another glorified workplace dramedy like Ugly Betty, where it's basically just beautiful people walking around beautiful offices in fashionable outfits, cracking jokes, getting in petty arguments, etc.

And now and then there's some emergency where Diana has to slip out and rescue someone. lol
I am thinking more of DEK's willingness to bring in a variety of political, social, and topical issues for dramatic purposes. Wonder Woman is a character that started out with throwing issues out in front of an audience all the while with superheroic fun and with humor. The character seems a natural for a lot of DEK's sensibilities, also he must be aware of this being an action oriented genre in the end. I do suspect that like Smallville a lot of comic book fans may not be pleased, but I think Kelly is a good choice to bring in TV audiences to a format that would otherwise be better suited to a niche cable channel.

Knight Rider was fun.

Flawed but fun.

I have fonder memories of Justin playing with his talking car than I do Hasselhoff.

In the Halloween episode Billy from NuBSG dressed up as Captain Jack from Torchwood.

Everything else just supported those 13 minutes.

Some vid. Wonder Woman's shooting in Hollywood tonight. The pants are darker and the boots are red.

Glad they made the boots red. :)

Steve Trevor has been cast: That guy from Knight Rider.
I dunno, doesn't look like any big deal to me. :wtf: Freakin' WONDER WOMAN should be able to do better. Just sayin.
But will Trevor be Wonder Womans boyfriend..or are we seeing years of friendship turning into romance in the style of Mulder and Scully:shifty:?
Somehow the WW having a boyfriend from day one of the show gives me the yucks (mainly because this stuff does rarely work well on superhero/heroine TV-shows)..but I guess one has to have something for the female audience(to some of them, anyway).

This is much better. The pants aren't PVC shiny and even the top's shininess is dulled in regular lighting (which is what I expected). And yay for red boots. :)

Looks good. The sides of the legs are a little "civil war general" for my tastes, but a definite improvement. The red boots look right, and I like the contrast between the plasticy red material and the velvety blue.

I agree the darker pants and red boots help alot. Still, is it just me or does it seem that the costume doesn't flatter her body as well as it should? Granted, its just a still and people often look awkward when running. Here's hoping the outfit looks better in motion.

I'm glad to see there are no heels on those boots. I hope it's not just for the action shots.

Okay, the lower half of the costume looks much better and more practical now (though I doubt very much it was in response to the complaints of fans on the Internet -- it's not like they don't have plenty of people internally who actually get paid to critique and evaluate these things or test them in practical contexts). But the top still looks too tight and impractical, too much like a corset. If they're willing to give her full-length pants, would some shoulder straps really hurt?

These shots should put any doubts to rest about Ms. Palicki's athleticism. I read that she's a former track athlete, and it shows here. You can tell she's a powerful runner. (All the more reason why that top is impractical.) I can believe that if a bad guy saw her chasing him with that strength in her body and that determination on her face, he'd be pretty intimidated.

Among other things, perhaps :techman:

This is definitely an improvement. Of course, I'm sure the change wasn't entirely dictated by Internet reaction, but it is likely that the earlier image was floated to gauge the public's reaction a bit.
