ABC will unspool eight reality series this summer: returning shows Wipeout and The Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad, joined by five new entries, including the weight-loss spinoff of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the Jerry Bruckheimer- and Bertram Van Munster-produced Take the Money and Run, originally slated for an April launch, and Mark Burnett's Expedition Impossible. Scripted series are represented by two shows, both internationally produced: returning Canadian import Rookie Blue and the new Canadian/U.K. co-production The Hot Zone (formerly Combat Hospital). The ABC-developed thriller Missing, originally targeted for summer, was pushed to early fall around the time Ashley Judd signed on for the lead in February.
