I love a good sandwich, what is the best sandwich you've ever had. I'll go first:
The restaurant: Avogadro's Number just off the Colorado State University campus in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
The sandwich: The Cremation - cream cheese, freshly made guacamole, lettuce, onions, sprouts, tomato, and cucumber on a crusty french roll.
This sando is awesome, and I ate at least one a week from 1986 - 1990. Whenever I'm back in Ft. Collins I make a point to pick one up. It's not the same as before, the guacamole is prepackaged, but still not bad. I'll occasionally make something similar at home, but I prefer to use bagels instead of the french bread.
For some reason the best sandwiches that I really remember don't have meat in them, but I am a certainly NOT a vegetarian.
The #6 Veggie sandwich at Jimmy John's is really good too.
