FRINGE gets 4th Season

As someone who managed to watch the show from the pilot to last Friday's episode in less than a month, this is indeed great news! I would have hated to have gotten completely caught up only to have this wonderful show canceled!

More wacky adventures on this side and the other side await!

:techman:

I'm still cautious. Now they have to start the cycle again.

They could get canceled within the first few episodes. Instead of now near the end of the season.

Apparently it's a full season order. Doesn't mean they couldn't scrap the back 9 when 2012 rolls around though. In any event, it's not like they'll air just a couple and then cancel it.

Yes! - I finally came back to Fringe around the middle of Season 3 after losing it early in Season 1.

I feel like I've pulled a Supernatural all over again.

Looking forward to catching up on this show over the summer just in time for Season 4!

What difference does that make? The show will get canceled at some point.

To me this is better because if the ratings are horrible Fox can tell them ahead of time that the show will need to end. Right now it's too late for that, they are already up to the season finale.

Yeah. If they ordered a full season up front, that suggests they have a lot of faith in the show and aren't likely to kill it on a whim.

Bottom line, folks: Firefly's cancellation is in the past. It's time to get over it and stop fearing the worst from FOX.

^ I am surprised they order a full season vs. "x" amount of episodes. You're right, they must have faith in Fringe!

This is going to be 22 more hours some people have to force themselves to sit through just because it's sci-fi. I can't wait to see the posts next season.

I'm happy about this despite my negative reaction to last week's episode. I loved the first chunk of season 3 and I have hope they can achieve that again. I also like Joshua Jackson. I don't have any direction in mind that I want the show to go, I just hope we don't get more soul magnet tea. And more Olivia and/or Fauxlivia but as little as possible of Bellivia.

Ah, relax guy. My mileage clearly varies, but I don't think Bellivia's going to last much past the teaser on the next Earth-1 episode. And yeah, Soul Magnet Tea is incredibly goofy. But it's Fringe for fuck's sake. It's a goofy show.
