thanks for the compliment on my peace symbol entry. I found it doing a search for the '70's" but in thinking of it now, it is more 60's than 70's.

Invented in the '50s, it came out about 1972. Took them a while to figure out how to make it work for the home.
It launched Atari as a gaming company. And now, I'll show my age. I had one. We also had the second version of the Odyssey gaming system before buying 2 2600s.

It's only 20KB. Max is 140KB.
It started in the 60s, but retained its popular use well into the 70s-- longer into the 70s than Love, American Style, which I used for my entry.
