I'm not predicting big box office intake for "Sucker Punch" either. I called it my dark horse movie of the spring because of it's potential. Also to the poster who suggested that Zack was lucky that he got the "Superman" gig before "Sucker Punch" came out. I'm not sure what you base that statement on. Snyder was assigned this project by Nolan and the brass at WB based on his previous work. "Sucker Punch" I'm sure didn't figure into this and the box office most likely won't have any effect on "Superman".
^ That isn't what happened with "Wonder Woman". Also remember too before he was given the project Zack didn't exactly have thrilling and enthusiastic comments towards a "Superman" movie. So it's possible that he was talked into do this and probably couldn't pass up the opportunity or to learn and work under Nolan.
Don't stress so much about it. The screenin' was last night, and the movie opens tomorrow. I'm sure there are theaters in D/FW that the bus routes will stop at.
Yeah, I'm gonna catch it up at Denton Movie Tavern on Sunday. I know it's going to be playing at a bunch of theaters if it makes it there. I'm looking forward to it.
Yeah, a 29 on Rotten Tomatoes... That's worse than Battle Los Angeles and that was quite the shitty movie. I'll read a few reviews and see what I think, but I may just wait for DVD myself. I've reached my shitty movie quota for this quarter already.
