Which was quite cool. Basically went to a Brit Sci-fi day held at the National Space Centre in Leicester. It was a fairly small event, but one of the guests was James Moran, who wrote The Fires of Pompeii, and also the Torchwood episode, Sleeper. Seems like a really nice bloke, and managed to ask him a question during the Q&A, then have a mini conversation with him afterwards about what was the most horrible death in Spooks
(Anyone who's a fan of the series would probably conclude the exact same death we seemed to agree on!)
Also had Matt Irvine there who did VFX on classic Who I think (although he seemed to have some Nu-Who props too) Quite a lot of Daleks there but not sure any of them were official BBC props...the K-9 was genuine however!
