There's no option for "I love the PT but not 3D." That's my attitude.
I could give a damn about 3D televisions - until they go glasses-free, I ain't buying. But I will buy the complete SW set on Blu-Ray. I won't buy it *again* in 3d...again, not until glasses are no longer required.

Ach, if we count AOTC, costuming is one point I'll give to Padme. That said, Carrie had more sass, so overall sexiness goes to Leia also... though I suspect Portman may just age with a bit more... shall we say... finesse...Don't forget- she wears that metal bikini.- Killed Jabba

There oughta be an option for "no way PT, but will probably check out the 3D OT."
Agreed. Hell, I'd go see the OT on the big screen again as is even without the 3D conversion.

Meh. I might watch Empire Strikes Back in 3d, because it's ESB, on the big screen. That's about it.

I'm trying to think what scenes from the OT would be good in 3D, and I can't come up with too many.
The asteroid chase, the trench fight, Millennium Falcon into and out of the Death Star, and the initial floating orb used during Luke's first training on board of the Falcon. That's really not a lot...

If they replace Sebastian Shaw now completely with Hayden Christensen in a 3D release of the OT?
Star Wars on the big screen is still Star Wars on the big screen. AOTC is still going to be a rough watch though.
I wouldn't bet on that.
This 3D business is a perfect excuse for Lucas to start tampering with those movies again, and we all know how much that guy likes that.
BTW, I personally find this whole 3D fad irritating, but I will go see all six movies, provided that the upconversion doesn't thoroughly suck. And I don't believe it will.
